Giants offense is so weak. It's too bad Cardinals didn't make it to WC

man the cubs would have obliterated them. Their pitching is bad.

The cubs will run into problems in the ws, not before. The boppers the jays have will give the cubs issues since they have seen lester, arrieta, and lackey before.

Cardinals played Cubs tough this year because they could hit the ball out of the park. Cubs pitching gives up so few hits, so you need to be able to strike quickly.

Who's supposed to be number 4 for Indians

conor gillapsie WEB GEM ALERT

wow I'm just absolutely shocked at madbum's performance.

The Pitcher batting is kind of hiding the fact that this Cubs lineup has struggled to produce this series.

Normal rest (4 days). His velocity is way down though from the WC game

Probably, he crushed that. No clue how lefties hit for any consistent power here

Ross is going to be an analyst or coach somewhere.

Velocity was higher than usual vs Mets. Probably just out of gas after that intense game.

Not until after his HOF induction and his number is retired at Wrigley.

But seriously, the amount of love he is getting for his "retirement" is annoying and completely unwarranted. The dude is a career .229 hitter and 15 WAR catcher over 15 years.

He also might not retire now

Jesus Christ, Fathom how do you have 102,280 posts. That's got to be an amazing record or something! WOW. I bow to you Soxtalk God.

Giants with some loud outs last few innings

Yeah this ballpark sucks haha

Arrieta hit very hard that inning. Fortunate to be up a run still. Can't imagine he will be in the game much longer.
