October 31, 20169 yr The Cubs should win this game due to the pitching matchup. However, if the young Cubs hitters keep pressing/chasing, the Tribe will at least have a chance tonight. They need to play like they're up 3-1 and not worry if they fall behind early. All the pressure should be on the Cubs. Edited October 31, 20169 yr by Chicago White Sox
October 31, 20169 yr Maddon had the Cubs come in at 5:30 today. No BP. It will be interesting to see how this games unfolds. Francona can manage it straight. Maddon is going to have to have a quicker hook , etc. unless the Cubs get a quick decent lead.
October 31, 20169 yr And now there's even more pressure on the Cubs. If the Indians get someone on base with any seblance of speed, they need seriously f*** with Lester on the bases. Francona is the one few managers I've seen execute this strategy.

October 31, 20169 yr QUOTE (Soxfest @ Oct 30, 2016 -> 07:39 PM) Why not challenge WTH! Yeah, looked like he may have been safe. How many challenges do they get in the playoffs? Maybe Francona didn't feel it was worth risking one with two outs and Bauer in the hole.
October 31, 20169 yr QUOTE (Soxfest @ Oct 30, 2016 -> 07:40 PM) After runner was safe it did. Not conclusive
