Trying Avi in CF is actually not a bad idea at this point. Some outfielders actually find centerfield easier to play than a corner. He sucks in RF anyway so what do they have to lose? If he can play anywhere passably in CF he would be much more valuable. Besides, his bat plays better in CF anyway. Remember, he came up playing some CF.

Putnam is a guy that can't be used heavily, he winds up with shoulder and elbow issues every year. Renteria might want to think about using him a little less.
