AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER

Featured Replies

The Royals are terrible and have zero of their previous personality. However, they have also been a team that has seen red hot streaks that catch them up. So we'll see. But man, nothin there.

White Sox now 5-2 against the Royals. Last year, they won 5 games against the Royals all season.

Considering everybody and his brother is either on the DL or hurt, I'll take a split over a putrid Royals team on the road.

Nice to come home from work to see the boys split it. 15-12. Tied for first in the division. Now on to Baltimore. Definitely a tougher team to face, and with Covey and Pelfrey pitching, not too overly optimistic, but definitely optimistic. Baltimore has lost 2 in a row, so there's that. Will be interesting to see how the Sox play against a "good" team outside of the division.

Holland looked good. Swarzak extended his 0 ERA. Mr. K had no K's but no runs either. Avi 2 more hits and 2 RBI. Abreu and Davidson with jacks. Davidson 2/3 with a walk.

Even Kodiashii had a key hit that drove in 2.

This team is actually fun to watch this year win or lose...no more being dulled to death from the dugout. Obviously some flaws...but the arrow is definitely pointing up IMO. Good lord those two jacks today from Davidson and Abreu were absolutely crushed. Love to see Davidson get more ABs instead of platooning. Nice job today. As to bmags point...I think Ventura's death took a big toll on them really...but yeah...they're back to being "the Royals" tho it seems.

Great win. 5-2 versus KC? That's crazy good. Davidson has hit some towering home runs this season and hit one today. Avi has been stellar and was today. I'll give Holland credit. I despised his signing but so far he's been very admirable.

I still say this is proving how bad Robin was. If only we had Renteria earlier we might have won the division a couple years at least of the Robin era. It's nice to see the Sox score runs once in a while unlike the Robin era. Sox have scored a lot of runs for instance in their wins over KC this season. It's not an automatic horrible game this season with the bats.

Sox still suck offensively on most nights but they also break out on some nights.

I don't know about winning the division but the biggest mistake Sox management made while "going for ir" besides the half hearted effort of going for it was not firing Ventura.

this and by A LOT!!! Renteria has been such a breath a fresh air actually having a capable person running the show. Loved Robin as a player...but good God he was absolutely the worst as a manager.

Yeah I probably should not discount how big of a roll that can play. They just look disjointed, when they used to be the most cohesive team.

Just keep winning series. Could be fun with Moncada, Lopez and Delmonico in a few weeks. Need the pen to get healthy. As I said before the season multiple times, won't be surprised at all to see this team around .500 in late June.

Sox are 8-0 when team hits 2+ homers in a game. Clearly the mashing ways are needed for sustained success.
