5/4 Games

Featured Replies

May back in lineup for Charlotte. Danish already gotten roughed up. Kopech going in about 40 min.

Funny, May got a hit in his first at-bat.

En fuego.

Moncada rips a single to start the 3rd.

Kevan Smith with a game tying double.

Broken bat single for Moncada in the the 4th. His ninth multi-hit game of the year per announcer.

I feel like I'm watching a webcast quality wise. Moncada broken bat single.

Seems like Yoan is adjusting to AAA pitching. Avg up to .340 now.

Danish bounced back after a bad 1st and has 4Ks thru 4.

That .340 ba next to Moncada's name is just fun to look at. ;)

If danish has really learned how to K people that could be some great news for depth.

Knights take 5-4 lead which may end up being a winner, they keep alluding to the rain causing it to be called early.

Seems to be throwing harder than last year

Kopech doing Kopech things with out a ton of walks so far this game.

Courtney Hawkins is nearing the end...

Kopech 4/2/0/1/5 with 2.05 ERA, chugging along.

Jinxed Kopech...

2 hbp and a homer

Not sure how runs are unearned. Can't assume DP

Moncada has become must watch. His power isn't even all the way there yet, but looking at his swing, he's got a chance to keep growing in that aspect. I think major league umps will help him too.

That Robinson Cano comparison's a pretty good one...let's hope it holds up. (And it saved the White Sox having to spend $200-300 million on a FA contract for a player who will be in pretty sharp decline the 2nd half of his deal.)

Which allows them to sign Luis Robert. The key is having star position players in their 20's and cost-controlled. If nothing else, the last decade should have taught the White Sox the diminishing return with veterans on overpriced deals.

Seems that with the Barons at home, their hometown scorekeeper's attempting to give a friendly no ER ruling to Kopech, but not sure how it can stand up upon league review.

Wasn't watching but strange. When I originally looked at the box they had him at 3 er's now it's at 0.

Changed back to 3

Kolby Allard (whose name was thrown around in Q rumors) for the Braves affiliate had a very good start. He and Kopech was a dandy pitching matchup.

And Eddy Alvarez average is quickly rising...

I saw him a few weeks ago and he was 91-92 into the 6th inning.
