Davidson at least preventing his average from sinking down to Mendoza Line. SANCHEZ with a 9 game hitting streak.

8 strikeouts, though.

Smith, do something besides a k or dp ball.

Of course we cant score. Quintana is pitching well

Garcia has no chance. Way too far off the plate.

Harrelson seems to be bored but at least has Wimpy to keep him company.

60 no decisions since 2012, huge leader in MLB for that category.

Boom!

Finally!

Nationals' pen is still a mess.

Smith still sucks. Man, for such a big guy you'd think he would run into one eventually.

Sale now has two career streaks of eight games with a minimum of ten strikeouts...last one two years ago.

Pedro Martinez did it once.

HoF hat as Red Sox or White Sox, lol?

Q under 4 era!

Damn the Sox are gonna get walked off again.

Stop trying to make Anderson a leadoff hitter

Agreed

What a fantastic game. Maybe Q gets a 1 hit complete game loss?

Agreed

Isn't it just because L. Garcia is out tonight?

Yea I don't get Rick putting him there when he was just getting hot lower in the order. I'm sure we'll see Yolmer batting 2nd soon at this rate.

There is no doubt we're getting walked off folks.

You don't see Yolmer making mistakes like that too often.

Leury Garcia has the bad wrist, will probably be back in lead off spot upon return.

Quintana with 99 pitches...who throws the bottom of the 9th?

Edited by caulfield12

Well folks, the impossible has happened - Quintana has lowered his ERA to 3.92. Officially below 4! I was pretty sure there was math that suggested this couldn't happen, but BAH GOD on May 19th, Quintana has an ERA below 4.

The guy is still a good pitcher. He's going to fetch a haul if the Sox end up dealing him.

Impossible

Mariners will already be on their 11th different starting pitcher this weekend...crazy. We just have six, I think.

"I imagine Rick Hahn's phone will be ringing tomorrow" - Hawk.

Q was great tonight. Keep him with Smith as a battery going forward
