His timing mechanism makes his hitch work but I worry he could be prone to long slumps. That said, he's impressing me.

The Sox have had bases loaded 4 times in the last 7 innings played. Let's go Melky.

Engel looks like the heel from Encino Man but damn if he's not the first good defensive center fielder to actually look the part when he came up.

lol, :notworthy

Avi didn't even have a chance to f*** that AB up, luckily.

Frazier at-bats really bum me out.

You just have to think there is some showcasing going on by the Yanks by having Andujar up and playing against the Sox.

Yep but the org supposedly loves him

As opposed to Kahnles last night, this is what an actual bad inning looks like.

Kind of a typical modern reliever- throw hard with some success, get injured before you make too much money, then out of the game and move on to the next one.

I just don't understand how a catcher catches the ball has such a huge affect on whether or not close pitches are called strikes. Can't you see where the damn ball crossed the plate? Why does it matter where it is caught?

RIP petricka Putnam bullpen

Great K! PetricKa

Aaron Judge is an absolute monster. This Yankees lineup is gonna be scary good for the next 6-7 years.

Just happy it wasn't Rodon :)

I think eventually Gary Sanchez will be their DH. From what I've seen this series, if it is any indication of his normal defense, he sucks defensively. It really is not only annoying, but kind of embarrassing when you have to go and talk to the pitcher every other pitch during a high leverage situation (granted the Yankees are known for doing that kind of thing, but still), just seems like Sanchez isn't good at communicating with the pitchers (which is the most important part of the catcher's job description, in my opinion) or blocking pitches at the plate. But, he sure can hit, and he will continue to hit as long as Judge is in front of him in that lineup.

Anderson has no chance at the plate. He's swinging like he has no idea pitchers can throw a slider.

They seem to, but it's hard to understand why. He's never been very good.

Benetti just set a record for most corny jokes told during a storm.

Ridiculous the Sox had to hit in that

And nothing has changed on that front.

That last pitch he swung at was ridiculous.

I can't remember a worst effort on a homestand.
