UZR + DRS both had Anderson as a very good defender last year and I think it's safe to say he passed the eye test as well. This year he's taken a step back. Development isn't always linear.

Can we pin this post? So sick of the non-stop Anderson b****ing. Give the kid some time for f***'s sake.

I agree. Experience will help. It's supposed to be a rebuilding process

I think the biggest takeaway from this game is- unless you're under 30 and in decent shape, keep your shirt on.

Davidson having quite the struggle making contact on this home stand

He looked pretty defeated there. Not sure if that was a strike though, looked inside.

1 for last 23 with 16 k. Rough home stand for the "rebuild" hitters

Yolmer Sanchez is probably our most patient hitter. That's something.

I'd say Narvaez has the best plate discipline. The fact he can have 1/1 K/BB rates despite having 0 power is very impressive.

True, that said, Yolmer can actually hit as well as work a count, at least moreso than Narvaez.

PH Kevan Smith. LMAO

Haha Smith is channeling his inner-Lew Ford

Reverse Jinx!

We get to within two runs at 6)4 and the relief pitcher promptly gives up a homer run and it's 7-4

i hate to keep pointing it out but that is yet another player anderson rounds off, catches off to the side, and throws on the run. STOP IT. Set your f***ing feet. Catch the ball under belly button. Reset your feet and throw. Know who is running. He had him by 15 feet. One time out of 20 he throws that ball away or misses it because of poor fundamentals. On a play a MLB SS needs to make 99.9% of the time, not 95%.

Not even cooper can get Ynoa's wild ass fixed.

lmao, clown show melky, should have caught the ball then turns it into a 3 base error.

He missed it by a foot. Dude, I've been there in LF, but that was DIII level.

At least Ynoa helped get Robert

That was not Melky"s fault

Wow Timmy...looks so defeated. How about not putting him at leadoff?

Ynoa is consistent. Rick Hahn's boy. The guy he insisted that Oakland give us along with Shark.

They all suck. who do you want to run out there?

Yikes. That was a brutal play. Bad jump, slow footed, bad mental judgement, it had it all.

Top of AL Central race tightening...keeping Vargas, Moustakas, Hosmer and Herrera off the market really benefits the Sox, especially Frazier and Q.

That game sucked. Nice first inning. My next highlight was Bill Walton getting on my Red Line train when I was going home. I think they have some Greatful Dead thing going on at Wrigley.
