Edit: SWEAR I DIDN"T KNOW but the white sox just tweeted that it was due to stomach discomfort.

With that HR Moncada has now surpassed Devers in wRC+. Pretty impressive considering where they both were just a couple weeks ago.

 

Where's the one fan that was so proud he kept hyping up Devers?

What a beautiful fundamental play by TA and trusting his arm! Earlier in the year he was rounding that ball off and making silly, careless errors. On that one he got his hat over the ball, squared, and fired. No need to charge those so hard.

I've been down on TA but he's come on very strong this last 35 odd games. Hopefully he can carry this into the offseason and next year.

I will say this Peacock got some really borderline strike calls on both corners against lefties and righties and also low. Hard to get hits when the plate is so wide. Liriano also got a very generous strike call where Hawk called out the ump " saying cmon you're better than that."

Hawk is so much better with Wimpy. I tuned in just for that.

A couple of pretty competitive games . Pitching holding up well while the hitting has been slumping after that hot streak of hitting. Abreu took some really good pitches to hit tonight.

Seems like his go to line when he's vocalizing disdain towards a blue.
