He would have had a fast runner as well, that was the really impressive part. He got to that ball in a hurry.

Lopez allergic to strikeouts

Some terrible, lazy defense this inning. Not sure if Lopez is tired because it's late in the season but his stuff is very average compared to what expectations were

Same could be said about Giolito, but obviously his results have been a lot better.

Yea really hope it's fatigue because Lopez stuff is real underwhelming the last couple outings.

I don't see the point in having Lopez make another start this season. He looks completely gassed.

Yeah hope it's fatigue. If you look at the video of his gem vs Braves last year, he looks like a different guy

Lopez does look pooped. He had about 153 innings last year and at about 160 now. As long as his arm is feels good, just keep throwing him out to get the experience and innings. It will pay off down the road when we look for him to pitch in the post season.

Yoan Moncada is a very, very good baseball player.
