So that bunt for the first strike was stupid

Easily worst part of Renteria's managing

Absolutely horrendous

Awful.

Massive hanger

First two guys on, can’t do anything with it. Classic White Sox baseball.

Geez, they can't go squandering scoring opportunities like that.

I hate bunting in pretty much all situations. Most of the time it's a free out. I dont like helping the other team.

It’s just a waste. I want to see Moncada hit. Not waste an AB

Might be time to call it a day for Giolito

Gio looks terrible. Get someone up.

This is where the Royals can pull away

Maybe it's just me but I like Lopez better than Giolito

I always have

Good play by Abreu

That was impressive though. He's battling and got out of that with no runs.

Well, somehow he managed to get out of this. They may even give him another inning since the lower half of order is coming up.

Thought the Royals would jump on him there. Love how Gio is battling

I agree. Always been a Gio homer, but I don't think he can get loose tonight. Everything I heard was that his velo was up in spring, and the results showed that. I wasn't expecting him to be throwing this slow in his first start.

I forgot how good Ian Kennedy was......

He has been at 92 at times. My issue isn't the velocity, but the location of his secondary pitches. I don't think he has spotted 1 all night in the right spot. He has hit a batter, tossed a wild pitch, another 3 or 4 have gone to the backstop, has walks, has been behind all night, threw 1 pitch BEHIND a hitter and somehow the kid has found a way to battle through.

That all said, against someone like Cleveland this game would have been over by now.

Would be nice to get a f***ing run right about now.

Ball 4 base hit.
