The best part about Giolito is that we can criticize him without some idiot claiming racism.

  • Giolito is having a disaster of a season. Any time Cooper wants to work his magic again,  be my guess

Not touching that with a dead horse.

It's not rocket surgery. I love botched rhetorical questions lol.

Ah, shoot, my mistake. I was leading the pope to water, as @daggins said.

I just hope Gio gets his curve straightened out.

I personally want to see his fastball curved out

Yea its time he stepped up to the plate and lays his cards on the table

Guess we jinxed the bullpen by posting that stat update on ERA since April 24th...

Can't wait to see some new/legit bullpen faces like Ian Hamilton...although he still has a ways to go.

Thank God there's still another two and a half hours left in this game

Ryan Burr too. I think both will be solid

Now they are going to collapse like a house of cheap suits

Benetti is just horrible. Even Stoney seems embarrassed by some of his jokes

I could see him on the radio side if Farmio hangs it up in the next few years. He's quite good on radio. Down time is not his friend on television. I want him to be good, but, please, more baseball and less jokes.

Benetti is not the kind of broadcaster a 6 to 15 year old watching at home is going to be drawn in by...because almost everything he says will go over their heads.

At least Hawk talked in a way that showed reverence and respect for the sport, and its storied history...he wasn't always James Earl Jones giving a lecture in Field of Dreams, but Benetti's just GRATING.

Welp, this evening's investment in this game is about up.

Delmonico just isn't a major league outfielder. It's been a very disappointing season for him.

Thank you all for participating in the mixed metaphorathon brought to you by the ghost of Yogi Berra who once said " I’m not going to buy my kids an encyclopedia. Let them walk to school like I did. "

Speaking of radio, didn't realize that WGN Radio was losing $6 million per year on the Cubs when they finally let them go.  Of course, that was after 2012 and 2013, when they were still rebuilding and interest was in the basement (relatively speaking, for the Cubs.)

I know this won’t be a popular opinion, but I’d send Giolito down to AAA for a few weeks.  He’s a very cerebral guy and I feel like he’d benefit greatly from pitching without the pressures of facing major league hitters.  Let him clear his mind, focus on his mechanics, and come back up at the start of June and hope for the best.

Wonder how many fans are left in the stands after almost 3 1/2 hours of this?

As far as Giolito goes, I think he gets one more start before they make a decision about sending him back down.

Heck of a cleanup hitter
