May 31, 20187 yr Scoreboard Double header for Kanny. (Henzman and Lewis) Stephens goes for Charlotte. Adams goes for Birm (is that still noteworthy?) Flores for WS
May 31, 20187 yr I predict a HR tonight from one of the big prospects in Winston-Salem. Those guys are more than due for one.
May 31, 20187 yr I wonder if the recent cool bats in W-S have any effect on Eloy going to Charlotte. Who would you replace him with? Hard to move up guys who are in the midst of a struggle.

May 31, 20187 yr No idea where this Twitter account got the video (or for that matter if this is legit), but passing along.
June 1, 20187 yr Micker with three K’s swinging so far. I know it’s one game, but absolutely no reason to rush him. He’s still got plenty to learn in High A.

Love seeing this, especially from Adams who has struggled Flores and Stephens both get overshadowed but Stephens should be up soon

June 1, 20187 yr Would like to see them go Rodon, Shields (until trade), Lopez, Stephens, Covey in the 2nd half...until Kopech comes up. Kopech could replace Shields when/if that salary dump goes through. They might even go six man to limit Kopech's innings. Otoh, Rodon needs to ramp his up if he wants to throw 150-170 innings next year.

I also think provided Shields keeps it up we'll be able to move him to a team like the brewers for a return like Kodi Medeiros.
June 1, 20187 yr I want to see Stephens in Chicago, like now. He'll be 26 in September. Let's see what we have before the rotation spots get harder to come by in the next couple seasons. Edited June 1, 20187 yr by ChiSox59

Pitchers don’t need a lot of time in AAA IMO, so I’m ok with him getting a call-up if he has a couple more strong starts in the coming weeks.
