There were never going to have the money to do that. When 1st and 2nd rounders go at or near slot there's just not enough wiggle room.

I get it, was just hoping they could convince one of them to sign.  The Sox should have some savings from the 9th and 10th picks, but obviously not enough to make too much of dent and I am sure most of will be / was used for Maldonado, Carranza, Bilous, Martin and Ortiz.

Again though, they can't convince someone to sign when they don't have money. They didn't save much of anything on top 2 picks. They overslotted Bilous. My guess is they overslotted Carranza and Martin as well. That's the extra savings.

I was kind of expecting Delgado to be an under slot signing since he was an under the radar pick. With that said, I think we can now rule out possibility of HS signings in the latter rounds.

Googles document says we signed Ryan Fitzpatrick yesterday.

27 signed, 1 confirms will sign (Fitzpatrick, who may have actually signed by now), 4 confirm will not sign, 4 still playing, 1 likely to sign soon (Walker), 3 are unlikely to sign.

He is playing in Great Falls game tonight, so he is definitely signed. 

Also Stiever is doing pretty well in his first game.

Man, I hope we can figure out a way to get Bryce Bush signed. That kid is yoked.
