Just checked the box score, god this team sucks.  This season has been a million times more trying than last.  It does get really annoying watching hapless baseball night after night, which is why I am box score checking tonight.

We have to lead the league in k's, right?

Look like ten year olds trying to hit McCullers so far. Taking pitches down the plate but swinging at awful pitches.

That strikeout call on Leury was way worse than the pitches he didn't call for Lopez.

It’s been really bad, although nothing Moncada could do about that last pitch.

Lopez is not crisp at all tonight. Hanging lots of slider, fastball around 94-95. To be expected after his big pitch count in 100 degrees.

His slider is dogshit tonight.  Needs to bring back his curve that was effective last start.  Thrown 42 fastballs so far, no swinging strikes

Abreu really needs to sit and get healthy. He just looks unhealthy and overmatched.

McCullers has very good stuff, so are we really surprised this team is struggling?
