    Throw strikes

  • Why do you want to trade Soria?  Why not try to build the team around him?

If any team could pull this move off and not ruin their rebuild it’s the Padres.  Their system is completely bonkers.  I still don’t think know is the right time for them to do something this, but add

That missed called third strike which was right down the middle is infuriating at the moment.  Can you imagine if Hawk was in the booth for that one!

Presumably, it would have still been called a ball.

Where was Gomez 3 batters ago?

Oi. I hate a pitch to contact guy like Gomez coming in vs. Upton. Upton Ks a lot, so I honestly would have rather stuck with Minaya.

When you go to Minaya with 2 runners on and 2 outs in the 8th, you can only blame the manager. Give me Gomez, Soria, hell even any of the lefties.

How very astute.

Just a case of a manager not using his best reliever because of a made up "save" stat

I'm going to just scream if the Sox blow this.

I hate how NBCSCN gives us that horrible angle at the most important moments lately

Fuck yes!!

That was some camera angle

Lol...added some much needed tension to a routine pop up.

As I have said before, we are poised to win this series and both games have had moments of extreme annoyance. Imagine if you were an Angels fan.

what a take

ah, good contact

Moncada looks damn good up there right now despite the lineout right there.

Uh oh, I think Abreu is broken again ?

It is a slap in Rodon's face to have him pitch this well and then bring in Minaya when he has guys on base.  Pretty ridiculous.

Alright, let’s end this with a K.

Good job Soria. Enjoy Houston
