Here’s where the bullpen blows the game.

That was predictable

that wouldn't suck, as this was a good "rebuild" game with Giolito pitching well

He had one blown save but is fine otherwise

Who will let all of Gio’s baserunners score?

Actually, one wonders  how many of his inherited baserunners have scored this year?  50-60%?

At least he can’t take the potential loss, I guess...so there’s that positive.

Feels like it has happened in every single start of Giolito's where he's pitched well

Now we all know what happens next. Ricky sends him out for the 8th, he allows a walk and a single and leaves, then the reliever allows a homer and Giolito's line goes from 7 IP, 0 R to 7 IP, 2 R

You almost got it right.....so far.

Haha, it was weak contact at least. His peripherals are almost elite

dumb dedumb dumb

Lefties 5/59 with oodles of k’s against lefties....just the sixth.

.100 baa.

Parade of relievers again.  Sigh.

This is the kind of shit that I can't stand. Renteria has cost Giolito probably over a full run on his ERA by letting him start an inning and the Sox shitty bullpen allows his inherited runs to score. Dude pitched so well, deserved no runs charged to him, and RR had to put him out there for the 8th.

Minaya just came in, so we know that Ricky is trying to sabotage this game.

They need to try Vizquel with Anderson and Moncada...maybe he can help Palk Smash play 1b as well.

Try something different, at least.

Hell, try Jirschele...have the youngest manager in baseball history.  Or Dave Martinez after he’s fired.  Anything.

His ERA was 0.00 at one point and now it’s over 4 - that tells you how bad he’s been.

he's clueless, he's not done one thing to deserve to be back next year

Always important to get that first out. When the meltdown comes it doesn't seem so hopeless.

Omar would have them bunt every other at bat, no thanks

His OPS is in a free fall and will soon be below 700. A trip down to Charlotte might be more appropriate.

Either you’re a troll or not intelligent.  Yoan’s OPS in July was .749, which was above his season to date total.  But keep hating and ignoring actual facts.

His last month has been bad. He gave up at least one run in half of his July outings, looks like August is off to the same type of start.  11 ER in his last 8.2 IP.

I changed my Signature to reflect that. Hahn needs to launch both RR and Steverson at the end of the season.

So we're not getting a top 100 prospect this offseason for him?

OMG they're going to blow this thing for Gio. Bullshit.

Omar is a disgrace defensively
