God dammit Engel. If you could only hit worth a damn... I hope Robert or Basabe or Gonzalez can rob em like he can.

The one thing about Covey is...when he is on, his stuff is pretty damn good. I think he's the type of guy, given our options in the rotation / pen, that you keep giving developmental innings to.   But as DA said, the fact that he struggles with runners on is not a good thing (in terms of being able to be a reliever). I wonder if he is tipping pitches or something else or if it really is a mechanics issue out of the stretch.

felt like that was going to be a much bigger inning. What a huge save by Engel. 

He saved 3 runs, so whatever he does tonight, he kept it a game.

People gripe about Engel and his hitting but he just saved three runs with his glove 

The Yanks were building up a lot of momentum leading up to that catch, but maybe now the momentum pendulum will swing in the Sox’ favor.

They've gotten here this far. How much catching experience is there between our coaches combined?

Just make Covey the closer for the rest of the year. He has no chance after the first time thru the order.

Maybe Kopech has rubbed him the  wrong way or something, but it seems it would take a perfect game with 20 strikeouts for Kopech to impress him.
