Then why not just start the innings with a guy on second base instead?

Well, that’s not baseball. It’s dumb in the minors too, but I get why they tried it...wins and losses don’t matter there.

  • Just watched the Moncada 3rd strike. If he’s not swinging there with 2 strikes, that’s on him.

I'm beginning to wonder if he is having some vision issues. He looks totally and completely lost, doesn't seem to have any idea of what he wants to do or any type of plan. This is actually gettin

Yeah, it's the 13th inning, so let's use a guy for one batter and then pull him

Not sure how you can afford to use a pitcher for 5 pitches in the 13th inning

Ending games in ties is also not baseball

Don’t worry, we still got Santiago & Vieira to save the day!

Agree, extra innings games are fun at shit!  Just sucks on certain occasions.

Beautiful strike three pitch there on Torres

Ending a game in a tie is more baseball than placing a runner on second base who did nothing to get there.  They’ll never do it in the big leagues though.

I think it’s far more likely than ever having ties.

Must take first pitch always.

This kid can’t catch break on close calls.

Too close to take, though.

That one was ridiculous. WTF is he supposed to do with that?

He’a got to protect, but that would have been a tough pitch regardless.

I just tuned in, has this guy been calling that strike all game?

I don't like this logic. I understand protecting the plate but it's hard to teach a guy with a good eye to swing at balls just because umpires may mess up

There are no White Sox fans in our home park right now.

The umpire didn’t mess up.  It was in the zone.  Barely, but it was there.  Too close to take.

Just embarrassing offensive display tonight, especially for all our young guys.  Moncada, Anderson, Davidson, & Sanchez were 0/19 with 12 K’s.

 Completely agree.

Moncada is now officially awful.
