Rodon with 2 walks and a K through 1. Walk issues are starting to creep up again. 

Velocity been down last two starts. Lots of 90 that inning, doesn't seem to be throwing free and easy.  Nice slider though to Guyer.

Rodon does like to ramp up as needed.

At this rate, Sox are going to get a hell of a prospect package in return when they trade Rodon this winter.

Another horse crap approach. Guy has great control and 4 of 5 hitters have taken 2 strikes in their at bats

With LaMarre/Engel behind him, Moncada isn't going to get much to hit. 8th is probably the worst spot to drop him to. Maybe they should move him to 6th instead. He has to have some sort of protection.

I meant more of a super sub than utility player. Wrong choice of words.

Yeah it is basically mid may or June for him now.

Wow, Fathom says something positive. Somebody call an exorcist. I think he has been possessed by a demon. 

That is what we need to see from Moncada way more often. Personally, I think leadoff is a bad spot for Moncada. He needs to be hitting 3rd-5th because he's a run producer and not a table setter. I understand why they placed him there in the lineup, but maybe it was counterproductive. He should be hitting cleanup vs RHP and 6th vs LHP.

Looks like Moncada is responding well to the lineup move. Walk (off of Bieber, which is hard to do) and a double so far.

That was probably the most complete AB I've seen of his since the ASB. 

Maybe I'm seeing things but looked like he had the bat more off his shoulder prior to the swing 

It's shocking to me to see the Sox approach tonight or just taking first pitch fastball after first pitch fastball.  Also please move Yolmer down to like 11th in the order.

I'd love for Nicky to be good, I don't think he's more than a last man off the bench.

 

Whenever Eloy check some boxes would be nice.

There really are a lot of schmucks in this lineup. Go figure as it is created by Schmuckalufugus himself, Ricky Renteria.
