He’s going to make the league minimum next year, there’s no reason to move on from him.  Just can’t rely on him being an 8th inning fixture and need to make sure we have some depth.

Unfortunately you really can't even rely on him to get on the field let alone stay on it.

No need to dump Jones at this point. There are others on the 40 man that would go before him if the Sox need the space. Let him compete for a bullpen spot in ST next year. If he's healthy and pitches well then he has a spot and if not, he gawn. If the injuries continue during the season then cut loose.

Cordell is up

So the final tally is Castillo.Cordell. Frare, Hamilton. Bummer, Ruiz and Danish ?

And then the addition of Abreu and Leury after their DL stints...well maybe Leury.

I don't think Danish got the call unless I totally missed that one.

He didn’t. The pen is Santiago, Bummer, Minaya, Covey, Fry, Gomez, Vieira, Burr, Hamilton, Frare, Ruiz.

Seems like it's safe to say the writing is on the wall for Tilson. Tough break for the guy, working his way back and all from the injuries.
