February 11, 20197 yr Hundley, Vogt, Duda ... I want none of those guys near the White Sox roster. Let's sign difference makers.

February 13, 20197 yr Sergio Romo to Marlins happened yesterday on 1 year deal. Probably going to flip him for someone at deadline if he performs well

I'm sure they're trying to lock up Barrios and Rosario as well. Actually, just looked at Kepler's numbers. They probably could have waited another year to see how he does this year. If you can get a guy who you have belief in to sign one of these, you do it every single time. The cost savings at the end of it if a guy pans out is HUGE. If it doesn't, the numbers being talked about here aren't the backbreakers that failed free agents can be.

He's going to get paid in FA if he keeps pace of a his last couple seasons.
February 14, 20197 yr Polanco and Kepler would get them a better haul in trades as well if signed long term. Basically like we did with Sale, Eaton and Quintana.
February 14, 20197 yr Kepler would be their equivalent of Anderson in terms of promise vs. performance. Berrios and Romero the much tougher signs at this point. Polanco is a head scratcher.
