As a Colts fan, I wouldn't worry too much about missing out on him.

I'd rather them draft a TE anyways although I'd prefer that person not to be Pace and his scouts doing it.

Agreed, but Pace will have a say and we will wind up with another Baby Gronk.

Ebron has stone hands, this doesn't bother me at all.  He had one good season, despite Stafford and Luck being his qbs for all but one season.  I'm not the biggest fan of an old Graham but you all acting like we missed out on a great TE are making me laugh.

Wanted to say I really appreciated that NFL kept FA period on time. It was very nice to have a break and argue about normal stuff like bears sucking.

Colts released Pierre Desir for some reason. Wonder if they are bringing in a new CB - Desir was pretty decent so an odd move.

Cool!  Glad that "this doesn't sit well with Bears twitter fans" makes a story now

still don't care

Or members of the sports media.  It was a bad signing in comparison.  Pace is bad at his job.

We know you feel that way

So uh, panthers are releasing Cam Newton today...

(i'd prefer risk/reward cam to foles).

Yep.  I wish Pace would have waited.

Wasn't it you that told me Newton was garbage and the bears should stay away?

Don’t think so but I like him without the big one year contract had he been traded for.  I also like him more than Foles.

Nah give me Foles. Cam can be just as inconsistent of a passer as Mitch.

It's true. Panthers are a team I watch alot. Cam definitely has way higher upside as a runner and the intangibles but in Nagy's offense, reading the defense and being accurate with the football is far more needed. Hell, Mahomes doesn't run that much in Reid's offense which is very similar to Nagy's but he does everything else very well (well... elite).

Cam has often had terrible offenses where he was the whole thing. Foles has been asked to just be a part of a broader offense.

Two years ago under the Turners they modernized their offense and cam had a good season with better accuracy.

That was also what 2-3 surgeries ago? Cam is not the same guy. I personally hope he does bounce back as he's fun to watch but his body has taken a massive beating.

So what's going on with the Quinn signing? I haven't seen anything saying that it's official yet.

Maybe has something to do with the fact that there aren't physicals really being done?
