I just watched the replay of Collins' 2 homers, on my new MILB.TV subscription. They were monster shots, especially the second one. You can't tell much, from those Twitter clips. They were really hit a long way. Is that ever great to see. He may have a chance to be something, after all.

Here's the HRs from the milb.tv feed

Madrigal leading off and Moncada hitting second ahead of Eloy and Robert is going to be so much fun to watch.

I think Moncada and Robert are kind even based on position, but Robert has a chance to be a 40-50 HR guy and Moncada might have a couple seasons in the 40 range. Robert has stupid power.

Elite plate discipline with 70 grade raw power is no joke.  Throw in a juiced ball and the kid has a chance to be a damn good hitter even with his swing & miss issues.  I may be in the minority, but I also think catching has probably slowed his offensive development to some extent.  Catching is the most demanding defensive position and it’s not unusual to catching prospects be late bloomers offensively.

Collins swing reminds me a lot of Josh Hamilton's when he was in his prime. I'd say that is a good thing.

If he puts up that production, he'll be an all-star 1B or an MVP C.

There will be good days and bad days, but performances like this are small indications the White Sox are on the right path

I have 100% felt that fatigue has been a huge issue offensively with him. But 3rd year in you really hope he got his body right.

Yup, plus the ballpark is no longer an excuse.  It’s put up or shut up time IMO.

I agree with every word of this. Based on raw power and plate discipline alone, Collins will have value in MLB even if he's just a 1B/DH.
