It certainly doesn't look good at this point.  It amazes me how many people think that just because you say you are doing a "rebuild" that that automatically will make you a World Series contender in

I don't want a top three pick if it means Rodon, Lopez, Gio and other young guys suck. I'd rather have pick 14 and they look good.

What the fuck was that moncada

And of course you missed the point of what I was saying. Doesn't matter, though. I'm use to the hostility on this site.

Everyone wants this team to win.

The only people that are in a real position to do anything about it don"t give a damn.

And until that dynamic changes it is what it is.

And I am used to the forced martyr syndrome that too many people seem to have.

Broken bat would've hit him if he went to 3rd.

He literally had to dodge the bat head. Just shitty luck.

He did have a helicoptering chunk of a bat flying at him....

What was the name of the Cubs player who got impaled by a broken bat?

Yeah I'm not mad at Moncada there. Once he saw that bat coming at him he just said screw it I've gotta get an out here

From the 3rd base side view, he was going to 3rd until the bat came at him, and then he changed his mind.

I'm not sure why we kept going inside there when Carson kept missing in. If you really think inside is going to work you might as well have him aim for the outside edge.

Three sliders in the dirt should do the trick against avi ?

Keep throwing Avi that bullshit he'll strike out.

Either way those up and in misses are a clue that he's running out of gas

Rentaria is hanging Fulmer out to dry here. He is missing his spots on every pitch. He has thrown 2.2 IP, that isn't enough?

It is one thing for us to say a 3 run lead is insurmountable, but why is our manager apparently thinking the same thing?

lol at Avi.  Never change dude.

Going 50% cutters is a good strategy for Carson, I'd say

Renteria is just terrible.

Rays are learning with our old suck.

Shocked Fulmer is still in.

Still shocked.

Putting your players into a position to succeed should be the #1 goal of a baseball manager. Renteria refuses to do that.

If Avi sucks this badly they'll DFA him.

I know right??? Renteria is a fucking moron.

He is 2/5 today.  (I have not been able to watch much of this game tho, and know he K'd twice with bases juiced).

Cooper hasn't done a good job teaching these guys how to throw a 92-95mph fastball for a strike
