  • 16 games of Royals, Tigers, and Orioles.  Here's your shot, guys.

  • Yep.  Need like an 11-5 stretch, though that seems like a pipedream.

I still haven't really raised my expectations for Anderson but it would really be a big boost if he could step forward from low-end starting SS to high-end starting SS.

How is he a low end starting SS anyway? He was league average at 24.

If Tim Anderson is like Alexei in his good years, he will be a hell of a player. ?‍♂️

Hilarious how Stone keeps referring to how well Sanchez has been hitting lately. He's got 5 hits in the last 5 games. It's really not spectacular.

Hits dont always tell the story in regards to how you're swinging it.

Castillo is fucking useless.

Castillo is really awful

jesus christ castillo.

Castillo is awful. Throw a pitch out away.

That throw by Castillo ?

Eloy kinda got screwed on that 3rd strike but it was close.

KC is going to give him almost all sliders until he proves he can do any damage on them. Both his homers were off fastballs.

I loathe our catching situation. Can we please have an Adley Rustchman fall into our laps?

The Sox have started to piece together some quality players. They also have a collection of some of the worst players in MLB, without question.

I feel like that's been the case for years. It's how the rebuild started, after all.

looking more and more like mccann is the one who will get to stay when MiLB catching comes up

Tim Anderson is 25 years old and started showing his upside in 2018. I am not sure what you folks are questioning here

And ironically or not, they’ve all gotten off to horrible, horrible starts (those bad players you mentioned).

TA is at minimum a 20/20 guy at SS who hits for decent average.  If he can increase his OBP and solidify his defense hes a top 8 or so SS in the league.

if he's a 2 WAR or 4 WAR player, no?

Does Bañuelos remind anyone else of Quintana a little bit?

His career best WAR season, last year, ranked him 18th among SS. I don't mean "low-end" as "bad" I mean it as among the lower portion of the guys who are definitely starting SS (of which there are probably 15-20 at any given time).

Man that guy has a nasty curveball.

People are going to be very disappointed in those catching prospects
