  • Just going to throw this out there....could you imagine Timmy's bat flip if he hits a walkoff?

Hell of a play by Timmy to score from 1st on that single.

Because it is 0-2 and pitchers usually waste at least one pitch. You're baseball stupid if you don't understand that. Just b****ing for the sake of b****ing

Must win game tonight!

It is amazing how much better that lineup looks with Eloy as opposed to Delmonico, Engel or Palka.

For me, key for Rodon is to mininize his pitch count early. Good first AB.

Thars Heblows

Yeah, my guess is velocity playing a factor here.

Rodon will never be better than a #3 starter at best......Tigers 14 homers all yr......Now 2 in 3 batters

Dammy!!

And that is why there is no game thread, lol.

This team stinks.

Rodón having a laugh after giving up back-to-back home runs and almost throwing the ball away on a pickoff move.

I hate to be the velocity police, but my god is he actually slinging 89 MPH fastballs?  Like we know he can throw harder than that, so if this is gameplan driven it’s just straight stupid.

Coop wants him to pitch to contact.

He can't early in the game for some reason. I don't  think he is warming up properly or enough or something.

It’s ridiculous yet everyone seems fine with it

I wish Ricky would quit batting Yoan 5th against lefties. Get him as many ABs right handed as you can.

Cuz that is working. Didn't they do that with Sale during his last year with us? Then he like led the league in Ks with Boston next year or something.

I think Tim thought he got that one.

When will they enforce the smokeless tobacco ban at games? Jose having a fat lipper and spitting every 5 seconds is not only fucking gross, but it is against the rules.

They need to take advantage of this opportunity. One of the reasons they've been losing is not scoring when they've had chances.

Edit: great piece of hitting Jose

I thought it had a grandfather clause attached to it

Stone said it. Moncada needs more ABs as a righty. Batting him 5th is stupid.

I’m at the airport following on Gameday, but did Yoan really take a 91 MPH right down the middle for strike three??

The Sox will lose by their own demise. Right down the middle and Moncada just stares at it. He's overthinking it now.
