    This aged well.

Engel blows enormous amounts of dong

Price not locating his change . Going with the knuckle curve now.

Over an hour has passed and we are still in the 3rd inning... god I hate playing Boston/New York.

We have guys who have a few good weeks and people think they are all-stars. Cordell has not had many at bats yet. McCann is a mirage.

Timmy swung right through a meatball first pitch. I think he needs a day off

Abreu's ball looked like it was gonna go further than McCann's homerun there.

Him and Yoan now 5 for last 34 combined since the Tigers walk off.  Hopefully they pick it up again soon.

Poor pitch selection to Benintendi. Late on 2 fastballs and you decide to speed up his bat.

That was on McCann

I don't know . What you said is true but he also was up and away to him , hadn't thrown a slider all inning and it was well located in a spot Benintendi doesn't usually hit well. Unless it hung a bit. That I don't know.

No shit.

MLB network now switching to Sox game .

Who is this other guy in the radio booth?

Tip your cap Moncada. That was a good pitch.

Yoan starting to fall back into some bad habits

He's been dealing with a lot of those lately.

oh dear god that 2nd pitch to Rondon wasn't close to a strike.

Ump has two different zones tonight.

Must be nice to have a stud pitch framer behind the plate.

Come on Gio just get through this inning.  Has been a pretty decent outing against a tough lineup just get out of here unscathed.

Giolito really has to stop hanging so many pitches.  Really wish he'd just focus more on the slider.

FWIW--Dennis Eckersley is doing the color for the game in Boston. He said Gio has an outstanding change-up and an awful curveball.

Now that was good pitch selection.

His slider has passed his curve. Slider and change are great. His problem with his curve is the same as Fathom said. He has to hang it to throw a strike.
