Covey looks like he is losing it though. F

Yeah, he's likely done after this inning. I'd probably get someone warming now. If he gets out of the inning let him start the next.

Ricky got anybody warming up? Covey is tired.

This isn't going to last much longer. Quit while you are ahead Ricky

and caught sleeping again

He's pitched more than well enough to win today. Would be nice for him if he could get a double play ball here. We'll take this outing out of him every time.

not until about 20 seconds ago

does renteria realize that warming up is something that bullpens do on the regular?  Even if they you know don't enter the game that inning?

It's unbelievable that nobody was until now. Covey is still not stretched out yet to go 100+ pitches.

damn nice breaking ball.

high fastball he'll strike out.

Covey-Lopez & Banuelos all have trouble getting through six.  I think that why we keep pushing to extend even when it seems foolish to us.

Sox should scoop francona when the dumb ass Indians scape goat him at the end of the uear

wow changeup?

I don't even mind pushing to extend them. But we rarely have someone there to jump in even after a couple batters.

Grest outing by Covey. If Ricky sends him out in the 7th, we riot. :)

Despite the weird management of that inning, Dylan deserves a nice cold beer after that one. Will take that start every single time.

Palka doesn't make that play, nice Tilson!  Great outing for Covey.

Ricky does seem to get caught with his pants down on more than a few occasions.

That said, raise your hand if you thought that the only Sox starters with an ERA under 5.00 on June 1st would be Giolito and Covey.

Bueller? Bueller???

Baseball is a funny game.

Dammit. Just missed it.

Ball is not carrying even though it is a warm night.
