Hey now. I never made a false proclamation though. I made a true statement. However I hope I never have to make it again, and once more his speed, power and defense makes him a more fascinating & fun prospect than Eloy was

Robert RBI single.

AVG at .314 & OPS back over .900 with that single.

Something you don't see very often or ever.  In the first Charlotte game, every player had at least one hit and scored at least one run, probably faced Despaigne  not good pitching.

RBI single for Madrigal.

I want to call Vieira back up just for this.

Madrigal had an RBI single to finish off his great night.

Gladney went 1-3, RBI, BB.

Madrigal just destroying the league. Not too far behind Robert on the development path now. If they both keep this up, they will be up to the Sox early next year.

Nah, he doesn't sell out for home-runs. Dude sucks.

I’m happy with madrigal focusing on good contact plus trying to maintain a 9% BB rate this year but I would like him to try to add more power to his stroke in the offseason. But O think most of his power improvements are going to be through approach.

You forgot TA (on his way to a 4 fWAR season, with 24 HRs and 33 SBs) and Vaughn (best college hitter in draft). Collins hitting 7th with an OB% around .350 would be sweet. Just need a solid RF and C (McCann?) for the future. The Sox are going to be so fun to watch over the 2020s.

Vaughn will be better as a hitter than all of those guys sans Eloy, IMO

Here’s hoping.... ( silly hoping )

Eloy = Dye ++

Vaughn = Thomas -

Collins = Thome - Dunn
