According to google, yes he hits lefty. Regardless, I think it's kind of silly to pencil Rutherford into a ML spot at this point. Sox have Rutherford/Gonzalez/Basabe/Adolfo/Walker in the outfield and they will all be at AA or above next year. They're not all staying with the club moving forward.

Obviously so, but I would note that I can see benefits to having our RF and LH bat needs filled by a younger player from our system as Moncada and Giolito hit their arbitration years.
