When Avi was hitting .330 in July a few years ago, I found myself calculating really shitty performances for the rest of the season just to see what his final slash line would "survive" at. I was thrilled when my pessimistic predictions gave me possibilities like a .280 BA. I've done the same thing with Tim and Yoan this year. I don't know what broke in me, but I find it impossible to believe that Sox hitters will have actual good years. I'm paranoid as fuck.
