I know it’s extremely unlikely, but he’s far and away our best trade chip that you could unload for controllable assets

So we can have a 30 year old at 2B?  No thanks.

There are relievers who look like toast one year and then look better the next year. Holland got off to an awful start with St. louis last year and has turned around to be the reliever we should have

I'm not a MLBer obviously but if someone called in off waivers was batting cleanup after batting 220 in AAA I'd kinda question WTF my manager was doing.

  • Trade Madrigal for controllable starter

Would MLB mind if the Sox just forfeited these games in Oakland?  Someone's gonna get hurt unnecessarily out there.

Hard to get ready when you are in literally once every 5 games.

THANK YOU!!!

Seriously, counting him and Vaughn as being up next year, this team's salary commitments are so low that free agency should be options 1, 2, and 3 to fill the last remaining holes. I don't know that we've ever seen a team in a position like this where they absolutely have to find something to spend money on.

Sorry, meant controllable pitching. I also think there’s not a chance in hell they land Cole or MadBum

Watching Sanchez bat is painful.  Cant wait for Madrigal

The ball boy fields better than half our infield.

Definitely better positioned

True but come on, he looks like he’s never seen a high fastball.  All he’s had is excuses made for him in this organization, but when you actually watch him live, you see why he struggles so much.

Collins was fifth round talent taken with a top 10 pick. I guess it is a success that he actually made the Show.

Pitching, pitching and more pitching.

Enough is enough with Covey. He is not a major league quality pitcher and never will be. Hopefully today is the last time we will ever see him in a Sox uniform

He has been pretty solid this year by White Sox pitching standards and I think he should have had the chance to get out of the first inning.

Nice AB by Reed.

Agreed.  And sure, it would be nice to have Cole as an ace in the rotation but there are still other starters that could make this team a contender if Jerry is too risk adverse to signing one of the top starters.

Eloy struggling to elevate

Not sure about it being even risk adverse, afraid it might become a bidding war situation where at one point it just does not make sense.

Yolmer looking like he did to start the season

God speed Madrigal...

Can't get here fast enough to suit me.

Yes he does and that's not good.

Feels like a 13-0 type game.

by the 5th inning amirite?

The Sox better be playing some October baseball come 2021/22/23/24/25. Games like today are downright embarrasing.

Terrible performance last game and a half. Eloy is so awkward defensively.  Detwiler can be DFA

Trap series. Not surprised they’re crap in Oakland right after the break.

I wish Robert and Madrigal would sign Eloy type extensions so they could be brought up now.  I am desperate for watching some interesting baseball.

No reason to torture yourself.  After the first inning, I fired up the Weber grill and started cracking some New England IPAs.  Now I don’t give a shit about how awful the Sox are playing.  ?

I wonder if mlb would consider a skunk rule. Up ten after five = skunk
