White Sox (Covey) vs Marlins (Smith) 7:10 CT

Same lineup theme as last night. No reason to go away from it, I suppose. Reed still in there as the DH vs a LHP is the only thing you could call a surprise. McCann gets a night off for Castillo.

  • Well that was a pointless, boring, unproductive game.  Oh well, 1 game closer to never having to see half this roster play again.

    3 inning pitcher

Smith is a really good pitcher and the Sox lineup against LHP is not great to put it mildly.

Not getting my hopes up for tonight.

And Covey is rather brutal.

On the bright side, Miami's lineup is rather hopeless outside of a couple young players like Cooper or Anderson who somewhat resemble major leaguers. So, maybe Covey can eek by with a QS and we push a few across.

Covey at 96 in the first

It‘s not hard to see why the Sox keep giving him chances to stick in the rotation.

Damn covey just ace the dude.

I hate how Castillo catches the ball. He is terrible.

he's our opener next year it makes too much fucking sense not to do it.  Let him come in at 96 with that running fastball and let him get 6-9 outs before he tires.

Miami's colors are aqua and pink. Jesus hell. Do the right thing and go back to teal and black, Jetes.

what a very nice first inning

if only we could play the marlins rest of the way we might win 85.

The fact that Starlin Castro is only 29 years old is still hard to grasp for me,

and that's why you shift.

lol Nova making a little history first complete game with no walks since Chris Sale in 2014.

Alfaro looks like he should be playing like in 1996

also the last year the 50 year old Granderson could catch up to 96mph.

Their roster is talentless. With the failed  returns for Stanton and Yelich and the underwhelming Realmuto return, I'm not sure how they ever become good again.

Moncada got under that one.

he just missed it.  darn.

I've love to ask Hahn WTF they thought they saw in Reed.  He is what we thought he is.

Reed just refuses to swing at 2 strike pitches down the plate. He really is chubby Collins

Their numbers are nearly similar and Collins had much more sporadic at bats.

My first game. The cell phone thing got effed up but Uncle Jer let me in. Dylan Covey was awesome until just now.

Oh my god, Jon Jay is so slow. Carlos Lee wouldn't have played that ball into a double.
