  • This is an awful point.  It wasn't more enjoyable than Hawk and Stone, it was a one time novelty.  If that happened for 162 game season people would want to murder Walton by game 3

A genius that deserves an extension.  But it is easy with Usain Bolt on 3rd.

Walton is by nature someone that is going to be loved or hated.   I found myself laughing more than I can remember watching a televised game. Would I want that all year? of course not.

WTF is Timmy doing

Faster on the double plays.

THE FATE OF THE KNOWN WORLD IS IN BALANCE.

"What inning are we in?" -- Bill Walton (over and over) priceless.

But in all seriousness, turn that shit Tim.

This isn’t true, according to his fielding stats with the Cubs...

Ah I stand corrected. Cubs made him play LF more in low A. I just remembered seeing him play 4-5 times (including the futures game) and he's always been in RF.

Why do people find this moron entertaining to listen to?

Was that Tim or was the guy just that fast going to first?

I was saying it tongue in cheek Badge.

Yes, he has played more LF than RF in the minors, and well before he was with the Sox.  Just imagine how bad he was in RF with his glove and awful arm...  yikes.

Let me just say I’m not a fan of going over 110 pitches with Giolito in a meaningless game in a meaningless season.  If he does, Ricky should be fired on the spot.  Unfortunately Hahn doesn’t actually watch any of our games so that won’t be a possibility.

might wanna get Fletcher out here

Surprised Ricky is letting Giolito throw this many pitches.

This Bill Walton broadcast should be saved for all posterity. Bill Walton has had so many crazy, zany, wonderful lines. He's been all over the map while exuding pure joy at watching the White Sox play.

He's had so many memorable, amazing lines it's just hard to believe.

This is the best broadcast of all timer (OK hyperbole) but this is special!!!!!

This is like listening to any drunk idiot in a bar who's watching baseball for the first time in his life.  It's entertaining for about 5 minutes.  The guy is a freaking idiot

Literally just posted that too. He was around 90 pitches the last inning. Thought he'd maybe face one or two more batters at most.

Only thing this does is make his statline look better.

Hell yeah!

Eh, that was worth pitch 113.  Gio just dropped his nuts on the Angels collective chin.

Bummer vs Trout will be interesting.

I'm glad he did.  Outside if Bummer the others would wet their pants and 'd think Ricky be tanking again.

I bet he's really enjoyed those "lines" too over the years.
