  • Solid first inning, 3 up/down w/ one K. Throwing lots of hooks, a couple were hammers. Fastball/curve showing right now, no changes so far. Like the flow early w/ DC.

  • That might of been an inside the park home run if Eloy wasn't admiring it for so long after the swing.

I’m sure Goins would happily take on that extra responsibility in exchange for a major league role.

No Trout/Pujols

This Hawaii little league catcher is a better pitch framer than Castillo.

Would be great to see Cease take a step forward today.

How's this for an oddity?  The lowest BA in the starting lineup today is a season high .240---and it belongs to Eloy Jimenez of all people.

Yup, pretty good first there for Dylan.

This broadcast is painful

Good life on fastball, just has too many non-competitive misses still, especially up in the zone

Yuck.

Good lord. Goes from a great inning to a horrific inning.

No problem, apparently.

Wasn’t even a bad pitch. The 2 strike pitch to Calhoun was way worse

Yea that was a cheese ball change up high in the zone. Should have probably kept with the fastball or try a curve. Still a long ways to go for Dylan.

I thought that ball was gone off Eloys bat, surprised it should have been caught

Hope Eloy doesn’t get benched

Also that McCann plunking was intentional. Ausmus is a punk

Go Matt Skoal ;)

This performance against a subpar team missing a couple good (err, one great) hitters is discouraging.

I liked the guy last night but my god these two are terrible.  Where was Wimpy this weekend.

This is turning into an SNL comedy skit.

Cease getting destroyed by lefties this year. He has to rectify that to be a viable part of the 2020 rotation.

He’s pitching like it’s ten years ago with fastballs at the belt. Needs to elevate it.  Also, the Jon Jay Experience is painful

I can’t believe we keep running Yolmer out there everyday.  I’m 100% serious when I say this, but I’d rather take my chances with Goins & Mendick in the reserve IF role next year even if Sanchez took a big discount to come back.
