Mishawaka is neither rural or NW

It is if you live in a city of 11 million...

Weak sauce flyout to LCF.   Ugh.

It's stunning how much more exciting the line-up and viewing experience with Luis Robert in the line-up is, compared to whatever this is.

By definition a rural city is a city located outside a city or town. Mishawaka has 50,000 people living there and is definitely not rural.

This team just sucks against starting pitchers.

The boys are seeing Fulmer well IMO, I don't think he makes it through the 5th.

DET's goal is for him to go 3 or 4 regardless of how well or not well he throws, so I don't think he makes it through 5 either

Nice trade, Epstein.   Jacka--.    How is it that former Cubs are everywhere you look?   Well, other than Cease and Jimenez.    And Jimenez has been hurting more than helping recently.

Are you a world geography teacher, lol?

It's amazing that a guy like Moncada essentially lost his stolen base threat since he's been a big leaguer.

At least we've seen Fullmer when at his best, and that's REALLY good.   It's not some no-name dude, although his season statistics so far this year are ugly in limited action.

Sox hitting Fulmer pretty hard, but right at people.

Anyone else think its absolutely preposterous that the MLB hasn't worked out a deal with TV networks to move up games threatened by rain? There are no fans in attendance to worry about, and surely networks don't love rain delays or make ups either.

There are teams that already are facing double digit double headers in the next month because of COVID, and surely they are not the last. Not taking blatantly obvious steps to mitigate the risk of adding weather make ups to that pile is just fucking idiotic IMO.

Stop making so many excuses. He’s mediocre, just like some of the guys who have shut down this offense of late.  They’re just too easy to pitch against.

Oh, hadn't heard that, how come? Is he still ramping up this season or something?

Got hesitant.  Either fear of getting hurt, or the coaching staff told him to back off.    This team would be so much more dangerous with Robert, Anderson and Moncada really active on the basepaths, manufacturing some runs and forcing the action.   Make the opponent beat you with a great relay.    Don't just sit around waiting for something to happen, playing 2006 White Sox station to state baseball, same thing with 2008 when Carlos Quentin was carrying the team.   Earl Weaver offense.

Corpseball has returned and so has the lack of interested in the game threads.  I'm about there myself.

With how his legs look, he isn’t attempting more than 5 steals all season.

I believe so. Stone said their goal is for him to go 3 and the next guy to go 3.

No, but I live in Indiana and there are a lot of rural towns; Mishawaka just isn't close to being one

The stolen base is a relic of the past in 2020., like it or not

Jones is Top 10 MLB in OPS and he's hitting 9th?

He needs to stop fucking training like he's a running back and start training like a baseball player.  Way more flex, way more pre-hab, way more holistic closed chain movements and way less quad training.  His hamstrings can't handle the amount of quad mass he's carrying it's that simple.

Three days of summer vacation left...have no choice but to enjoy it while it lasts, if "enjoy" is the right word for this particular viewing experience.

Jacoby is still Jacoby

He Gone!

Dallas keeping them in the game.
