Eloy fooled pretty badly there. Abreu gotta pick him up

Jimenez.  KNOW THE SITUATION AND WHAT YOUR OBJECTIVE IS UP THERE.   GEEZ.

Professional RBI at-bat there by Abreu, sensed the positioning of the infielders and knew he just needed to get it down on the right side of the infield.

Instinctual.

That's what Eloy should have done but whatever, we'll take it.

NIce job Jose!

Abreu the RBI king

Abreu rbi grounder scores TA!

That is a great contrast between the ABs of Jose and Eloy.  Jose made sure he put the ball somewhere that would get Tim in from 3rd with the free RBI.  Eloy didn't think about giving himself up and swung at garbage.

EE just missed that one, that was a hanger.

Encarnacion's closing in on going into one his patented 7-10 day tears where he puts up 3-5 homers and bunches of RBI's.

Fly the Parrot!    Free the Parrot?    Does his real parrot need to be socially-distanced and not allowed in dugout?

I thought that was out of the park

Cease, you need to locate that fastball a little bit better....big league hitters can handle that pitch, especially if they're looking for it.  Even 9th place hitters.

Smart baserunning by Castro moving into second.   Paying attention.

That is just nasty.

lol McCann gave the pickoff sign and Dylan was like nah.

Nice job Dylan!

That's a HR for Miggie 5 years ago, thank god he's weakened.

Sad to see Cabrera looking like this.  Kind of like King Felix.   Along with Pujols, one of the two best hitters of his generation in the years after Ramirez/Ortiz dominated the AL.   Harrelson just loved to talk about him as a hitter, and his approach to the game on that side of things.

Just doesn't have the drive/power with his lower body anymore.

So far, it has been a good thing that McCann waas behind the plate.  He moves his feet so much better, and his blocking technique is very good back there.  Grandal isn't half as good at it.  And with how often Cease has been in the dirt today, we are probably talking about at least 1 WP/PB in the first few innings.

Nice patience from McCann.   We have a lot more discipline out of that position than the Narvaez hacking years, although Omar was actually one of Hahn's Top 5 finds arguably.

That would have been out or off the wall in quite a few MLB stadiums in CF.   Robert's not that far off anymore.

Can't give Charlie Blackmon credit for a .400 season if he doesn't even play in 81 games.

Much better swing by Robert, but still a little late on the fastball. Maybe a sign that he will get his timing back

That is also a homer in Chicago, by a decent margin.  In Detroit, not even on the track.

Wat? Narvaez had a 12% walk rate ???

Mazara picked up Boyd much better in that AB.

Mazara inserted into the line-up to set up Mendick and Goins for RBI's, right?

You guys may hate the way Mazara's hitting ATM but he is getting on base at a good clip.
