  • Nice win, but we need to start beating actual good teams before I know this is for real.

  • Dane Dunning didn't have his A stuff tonight. Maybe not even his B stuff tonight. He fought through the inconsistency to give us not just a QS, but a much needed 7IP. Gio has shown us how importa

They are fading fast.  That 4 gamer looks much less daunting now.

fwiw it's looking like their rotation is lined up to be Civale-Bieber-Plesac-McKenzie.

Let's knock Bieber out of the MVP race for good.

Funny this was last nights actual winner thread but we have so many we can’t tell anymore

The dream scenario - win tomorrow and make the Twins watch us celebrate a playoff spot.

Then win enough in Cleveland to make them watch us celebrate a division crown.

Ooooh I'm getting tingly just thinking about it.

To add to that dream, I still wanna see Cleveland play good enough or Toronto to play equally bad so the Sox can avoid Cleveland in a 3 game series vs. their rotation.

I really don't care what team we play in this crazy Covid season. I'm just hoping it's fate it's Sox vs. Cubs in WS. If fate/destiny is on our side, it can't be stopped.

When I think about pure "baseball," I don't think we can beat Tampa, NYY or Oakland in the playoffs. Sox aren't ready for prime time.
