In a game with so much uncertainty, Madrigal is awfully predictable. He's going to make contact and he's going to hustle his balls off

What a needless personal attack.  From a mod too.  Notice how I never post about other posters only sox baseball.  You mistake my passion for the Sox and the game of baseball.

  • He had no control from the windup against the Twins. I actually talked about this during his last start in the gamethread. Good to see Coop taking my advice to heart. ?

Haha, Karma.  Showing Moustakis how hustling gets you a base hit.

Abreu bomb gives him MVP lead.

.340 with 2 strikes.  Hot Damn.

Pito!

5-2!

One time Eloy, we need you.

Stone wants double.  Stone gets double.

53 rbi in 53 games.  #MVPito

Tying run at the plate...when it's Eloy, anything can happen.

Not deep enough.  Damnit.

A couple of big runs stranded there

They are wasting the next Pete Rose batting Nick 9th.

He needs to stay higher in the line-up.

Missed the first 5 innings here, looks like Cease was just as frustrating as ever, with the walks.

Detwiler still in.  Keep them off the scoreboard please...

Wait....10 walks in 4 innings? Jeebus, that should be immediate grounds to not pitch for a few days/next start.

Looked fantastic in the 1st.  Next 3 he couldn’t find the zone.   Couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn in the 4th.  Walked the bases loaded and all 3 scored after he left.

More frustrating than ever...literally.

7 for Cease, 3 for Detwiler.

Gotta get the lead man there.  Come on.

He’s not afraid of the bat, this is purely a mechanical thing. He pulls more pitches than any pitcher I’ve ever seen.

I have little faith that Cooper will fix Dylan, and make no mistake about it, he needs to be fixed. The Sox are between a rock and a hard place...

So much for keeping them off the board this inning.  7-2...

Hmmm!

Days like this expose RR so much. How can Rick Hahn not see this?
