How shallow were they playing him.  That ball didn't reach the warning track and the RF ran a mile for it.

Madrigal hits a lot of 180 footers the other way for hits so they take the chance to take away some of those even of it means he occasionally beats you above the outfielders head.

Well, given the plethora of hits he routinely drops right in front of the right fielders for hits (which makes him so dangerous) probably pretty shallow.

I hate that this game isn’t tied. Heck, I hate that we’re not up 5 to 4.

LeMaheiu has 6 points on him currently. gonna need to get some multi-hit games. A dramatic hit tonight would help...?

Won’t happen for Timmy this year based off who he still has to face and DJ gets.

Nice play Jimmy.

Very shallow, the league is adjusting to him.  As we’re seeing, anything in the air is an out.

He should walk to the plate with the approach to get jammed.  The weaker he hits the ball the better the result.

Amazing how our relief pitchers  immediately give the lead back to a team and then look like ACH Young

Does "Codero" mean "Everyday" in Spanish?

Great play by Timmy

Sox have no chance against RH breaking balls...

I know Yoan is not himself, but I have no confidence he will do anything when he steps to the plate

Absolute horse shit AB Grandal...

That was so ugly.

Nope. Games over. Get em tomorrow.

And the zone widens again

He throws 93 with an 87 mph change up. He shouldn't be that good, surprised at his numbers

Robert and Yoan something like 2 for last 50 combined

Predictable pitch, predictable chase.  Pathetic inning...

I'd like to give the following input before this game goes any further....f@#%ing  Jace Fry!!!

At this point we just gotta hope we see Brad Hand in the 9th.

He’s been basically worthless since the first two weeks of the season. He went from such an electric player last year to looking like a minor leaguer.

Is forfeit an option?
