October 1, 20205 yr Oh, this is about ESPN signing him to an extension. Well, I'm a lot less pumped about that, but good for him. I like him as both a college basketball and college football announcer. He's just a pro as a play-by-play guy.

October 1, 20205 yr While being a sox pbp announcer would be amazing, I really don't know that I could do what Jason does with his year round schedule. This year notwithstanding, I can't imagine he's ever home.

I feel like a lot of the guys not named Joe Buck who do national broadcasts have local teams they broadcast for during the season/during the week.
