Sox expected to be a "little bolder financially" than most

Would be fine as one addition of many... as our fourth starter is all.

Agreed. Nothing wrong with signing Odorizzi. In fact, I think it would be a welcome addition and he will likely come very affordably. I just hope that he is part of the solution not the only solution. Signing Odorizzi, Quintana, Pederson, and Colome/Hand would be a really solid offseason.

  • After the backlash the team is getting, from the fans and media alike, from this managerial hiring, they better be more than "just a little" bolder financially. They better be very bold. While also be

  • Go all in, sign the best of who is out there, win a ring, LaRussa retires and we never have to think about this debacle again.  That might salvage this moment.?

  • Bold is signing Bauer AND Stroman AND Springer.  Or replacing one of those with an elite trade.     That’s how you piss all over the AL

Definitely a solid offseason. I would sign off on that right now if I could. Nothing spectacular, but I'm not sure I would consider anything spectacular if Bauer isn't involved.

I agree. I didn’t want Odorizzi last year as our main SP signing. As our #3 or #4? Sign me up.

So Joel Sherman first writes an article about the Sox expected to be a little bolder financially than most this offseason but than he goes on to write his predictions for the offseason and says the Sox are only going to sign Odorizzi. Contradictory reports if you ask me.

This wasn’t Sherman’s predictions

Your right sorry it’s from Ken Davidoff. He must not like the Sox. Btw he didn’t include Joc Pederson in his predictions.
