January 14, 20215 yr McDoink FTW! I don’t ever want to hear Rongey, or “Ranger” even say the words WHITE SOX again. Rongey came from that era of The Score where they were really condescending and rude to the callers. It was a big part of the Boers and Bernstein show and I think it influenced all of the younger guys at the station. Rongey was a jerk.

Don't remind me of B & B, couldn't stand the condescending jerks and your comment on Rongey is spot on.
January 14, 20215 yr I have liked McKnight's past work with the Sox so good for him. I also was excited to find White Sox weekly on the radio last Saturday morning at 9:00 since that is when I run some weekend errands.
January 15, 20215 yr Heard Rongey on the Score just a week or so again. He used to get so frustrated with callers it was pretty funny. One of his replies to a guy that he was getting ready to hang up on was a classic - “ that’s a dumb idea and you’re stupid”.
