May 29, 20214 yr With Burger’s hot start I see him being used as a potential trade piece. There’s no place for him in our lineup at 1b/3b/DH for the next several seasons as these spots are locked up by young talent. May 29, 20214 yr The upside to having injuries to the mlb roster is that you get to bring up young talent to check out their progress. Nobody trades until the deadline anyway unless you really overpay which the Sox won’t do

The good news is that they can go back there in 2022 and still be more than age appropriate.
