June 30, 20214 yr Tony made things too interesting leaving in a gassed Lucas in the 7th, yet again, and bringing in Marshall, one of the worst three options (Foster and Ruiz the other two contenders). Nice to see Sheets with a solid game in his debut, Giolito battling through the weather and some early trouble. Vaughn had a great game, Burr as well. Twins now 12 1/2 back, scratching to stay out of the cellar. Nice for them they don’t fave to worry about losing to the Yankees this postseason.

June 30, 20214 yr It Takes a Team (of scrubs) to come back from an early deficit to take a 7-2 lead. Give up that lead then hold on for the win by the slimmest pf margins. Props to Sheets on his 1st 2 big league hits and contributing to the runs we got and the runs we gave up. But overall a successful debut. Major props to Vaughn for 2 hits against RHP. Props to everyone with an RBI as they all were needed. Props to Giolito for a gritty start and to Burr for a great 8th inning and the only pitcher who didn't give up a run. @hi8isfor his usual message of Fuck the Twins and Donaldson .
