I must not have been following the Giants as I thought he was doing really well for them after being acquired.

 

edit: wow, just looked up his stats. Had no idea he was so horrible this year. The times I saw him he seemed to be doing well.

I dont think so. Goodwin at least has been a consistent mediocre hitter through out his career. Tuchman has been terrible every year except one.

No to Tauchman, he sucks

I knew Tauchmann was having a rough year. Guess I didn’t realize it was quite as bad is it has been. The 19-20 version would certainly be a useful platoon bat, but that version may be gone. 

I hope the Sox go after him and sign him, he's a good depth piece. I know that Hahn reportedly likes him a lot as a player, maybe their pro scouting/PD people see something that they can tweak.

Sox are not adding this guy to the 40. If he wants to play in Charlotte on a MiLB deal sure but that's really it.
