Every time I see a ridiculous hater or trade deadline post I just remember 50% of this forum thinks Moncada is terrible

Who thinks Moncada is terrible? We don't have a single terrible regular position player when healthy. Garcia isn't even terrible.

  • God I wish the Sox operated like this.

  • I'm probably in the minority - but I'm glad we have Hahn and not Preller. That team had a stockpile of talent, and it's cool they're going for it, but if it doesn't work out, it's going to sting when

nobody cares. I’m saying it’s fucking baseball dude. Literally anything can happen in 7 games.

And I’m taking the field every single time

I’m sure the fans in about 15-18 baseball markets who are paying attention actually care.

Especially Arizona and Colorado.

There’s no point for those teams to exist, although Colorado has one of the most consistently supportive fanbases in the sport…at least they will until the next five year rebuild.

Dodgers paid like a tiny bit more for trea turner and max scherzer than the Cubs did for Jose Quintana lmao

Not if Rodon, Keuchel and Cease keep pitching like this, and Kopech remains in the pen.

If someone thought there would be no step back or dead arm period this year after last year they had the wrong expectations.

The Sox fuck themselves over.

Well Quintana had like 4 years of control. Turner is a FA after next year and Scherzer is a rental. Still I get your point. The Cubs overpaid.

Would Cease/burger have netted you turner/scherzer?

Given the package announced so far I think it's comparable

Nats got two top twenty guys. So no I don’t think so.

correction I misread 61 as 16. But still no.

Ah didn't see ruiz. I think cease probably higher valued than josiah though

I proposed Cease and Madrigal the other day and that looks better than this package.

What’s crazy is the Nationals just gave an NL rival a Willie Wonka ticket to the WS after winning it all two seasons ago and trying to compete recently without the same ability the Dodgers have to keep both a Rendon and a Strasburg.

Who knows, maybe the Dodgers now turn around and trade Seager, lol.

Or simply play one of those guys at second.

Gray is one of the fastest moving prospects in baseball recently…tons of hype.  And Ruiz highly touted but catching is a superfluous position for the Dodgers.

Cease/Burger doesn’t come close.

How did they give them a ticket to the world series lol.

Why do people talk like this in baseball?

Great, cease has proven to be a good player in the big leagues. He's worth more than gray imo

The 2 extra years of control on Gray probably look much better to a team like the Nationals.
