KImbrel meets the Kimbrel kid

Featured Replies

I am glad this got to happen.  This kid is what baseball should be all about.  The game has so much fun and joy in it, if you take the time to find it.  Great for the way this kid is being raised, and good on the Sox/Kimbrel for making this  happen.

This is awesome.

The kid has already contributed more to this season than Kimbrel.

Fucking A right, mate!!

To be honest.  This is great and wonderful.  Watching this on TV made me miss my father even more because baseball was one of the things we shared that we love.  Just really great and I love that when everyone has written baseball off, this kid could be this inspired by something he saw from his favorite baseball player.  Truly inspiring and awesome!

BTW does Kimbrel offer any reason why the antics? Just a weird little quirk?

Don't even need to travel outside of Bridgeport for those.

This is a great lil story. The smile on his face when he discovered he was on the telecast is unbeatable. I'd love to see him throw out the first pitch sometime....Kimbrel style

The White Sox PR department is so always on point. Marketing and PR compared to any other sports team in this city is so Day & Night and it's one of the things that hopefully creates the next generation of baseball fans to be black n white and not blue.

That's just outstanding.  Is he available to freelance a couple of 8th innings if we get in trouble in the playoffs??

He's a better mop up guy than Mike Wright
