We punted too many games and then we left it in the hands of others to help us with HFA.  It’s a losing proposition.

Kevin Cash smart to hope Houston host the Sox, gives Houston the best chance to advance whereas Tampa takes care of Wild Card winner who burnt their Ace pre series.

Seattle creeping closer to second spot if they hold on tonight. That would hurt Tampa, who would be forced to fly the furthest air route possible, they are likely pulling for a limping Boston to hang in to the second spot.

Hope Tampa wins the World Series if the Sox don’t.

Totally agree. That said, how much sweeter would it be to split in Houston and win the next 2 at home to win the series?

Splitting in Houston is the best way to look at it IMO.  Yeah they got their asses handed to them in Houston this year but we’ll have a full squad in October and taking one shouldn’t be too tall of a task.  Split on the road, take 2 at home, and get ready for the ALCS.
